MARS poster award at EMBS

The Marine Research Stations Network (MARS) is sponsoring the 2 best posters at the EMBS with an award. The best poster contribution on a topic involving Marine Biology will receive 250 Euro. The second best will receive 100 Euro.

The posters will be selected at the EMBS by a representative of the MARS network.

Please consider the deadline for regular submissions of poster and oral presentations for the EMBS. Thus regular submissions of abstracts for the EMBS symposium should all be sent directly to the organising secretariat of EMBS

The winners of the MARS poster awards are:

  • 2006: 41st EMBS in Cork: Karin Troost (IMARES, Yerseke, Nederland) - first prize
  • 2006: 41st EMBS in Cork: Lucy Woodall (University of London, UK) - second prize
  • 2005: 40th EMBS in Wenen: Fuchs, Bright & Wanninger (University of Vienna, Austria)
  • 2005: 40th EMBS in Wenen: Oertel & Patzner (University of Salzburg, Austria)
